Why anyone would want import bookmarks and other bookmarks on the toolbar totally eludes me, given both live in the menu area. Can this be fixed in future updates PLEASE.

You can right click those items to remove them. "Import Bookmarks" is regular toolbar button and can be dragged to the Customize palette or via the right-click context menu (Remove from Toolbar). "Other Bookmarks" has a "Show Other Bookmarks" checkbox in the context menu. The latter appears if there are bookmarks stored in the Other Bookmarks folder.
