I have had to replace a laptop. On my previous laptop using 91.12.0 (64bit) I had 2 email accounts working great. On this new laptop I have 102.1.2 (64bit) I have my main account running ok. The second email account hangs on "checking password" during setup and won't progress beyond that. Sam password as works on previous laptop. If I stop that account creation and try again it then reports Incoming server already exists.

I have tried uninstalling and deleting %appdata% more than once and after reinstall same thing happens. Any ideas?

Should I try a previous version of Thunderbird?

In the extended wait I had waiting for advice I went ahead and downloaded an earlier version of Thunderbird and that allowed me to set up all the accounts I needed. The issue I was having was clearly isolated to version 102.1.2 (64bit). I will stick with version 91.12.0 (64bit) for now.
