Can anyone tell me why on some websites, every time I do anything the Menu Bar disappears and I have to press the F10 button to get it to show again and how to fix it if possible? Quite aggravating having to keep doing continuallythis as I use the Menu Bar a lot. My email may not be working at this time (other problems...), so I will visit back often. Thanks! Wolfgang

DUUHH! Correct; I had so many problems going on, I did not notice I had the wrong app. Thanks for pointing that out. I'll submit this in Thunderbird. Wolfgang

You are already in the Thunderbird forum - just sounds like you are not talking about Thunderbird.

If this is a Mozilla Firefox browser issue then you need to post it in the Firefox Forum. However - the solution for the 'Firefox' Menu Bar issue is identical to the the solution used in Thunderbird.

If this really is about Thunderbird the email client : re : 'the Menu Bar disappears and I have to press the F10 button'

When the 'Menu Bar' does not display, you can use 'Alt' key or F10 key to get it to display - BUT it is only a temporary display as you have discovered. The 'F10' or 'Alt' key is a quick view not a permanent view because you have only asked to open it for now not set it up as a permanent setting.

You then have to set it up as permanent. Click on 'View' > select 'Toolbars' and click on 'Menu Bar' so it gets selected. This should make it permanent.

Wrong group? This doesn't sound like a Thunderbird problem.
