Every so often google randomly blocks one or more of my gmail emailaccounts, and when I use Thunderbird I just get a message saying email and password not recognised, or not accepted, or email address has been refused. It happens from time to time randomly and last time I had to set up these weird passwords generated by gmail. This time I just can't find an answer as to why 4 of my accounts give me the same error. I can log into them fine on the web, using gmail, but Thunderbird isn't allowed to connect yet I can connect to other accounts which are configured identically. Can anyone help?

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

Here are the basics:

- change your security authorization to Oauth2 (do this for the server settings and also for the Outgoing (SMTP) server - two places - remove the password entries for the account (remove the entire entries both incoming and outgoing) - check to ensure that TB is set to accept cookies - Google will then step you through the authentication process for your PC.

Sorry I should have said I'm using v91.10.0 (32-bit) of Thunderbird and Windows 10

Are all of the accounts using Oauth for authentication? Important to check the incoming server and the smtp server.

None use 0auth I checked every setting. One day they were working, next day they weren't :(
