I need to know why, when I go to write an email, my name appears twice in the "From" section? I am concerned that it may be a scammed or surveillance facility of a third party. What is the fix for it?

What you are seeing is how the email address was defined. For example, it's not uncommon to see email addresses such as John Doe <jdoe@aol.com> - This syntax allows creation of a person's name to be part of the email address sent. If you review your addressbook, you may see that format.
