Autofill email addresses jump around

In the last week, whenever I start typing an email address in the "To" field (or bcc or cc) it autofills with whatever is the top entry, but sometimes this isn't what you want.

When you hover the cursor over other items you can't select or "lock in" another entry, which might be the one you want. As you move the cursor up and down, the addresses jump and and down and wherever the cursor is shows blank. So, to get the address you want, you have to keep typing. That causes problems if for example a person has more than one email address.

An example: you want an address that is of the form "info@ ...". The first suggestion comes up - and then you cannot use the mouse to select another choice.

Something has changed recently. Please advise.

There have been similar issues on W7 systems. First, run TB in safe mode (hold Shift when launching) and see if there's a difference. If not, try setting the Windows theme to something other than Classic or Basic, e.g. try an aero theme.

The bug should be fixed in TB 91.

Thanks for this. Yes, I am running under W7. Safe mode makes no difference, but changing the theme fixes it. The trouble, for me anyway, is I don't like the aero themes - the clutter the desktop and/or are too garish.

I have just downloaded and installed TB 91.1.0 (64 bit) and it was still not fixed.

A follow-up ...

A work around, is that right-clicking the blank field seems to select the hidden address and then populates the 'To" field with the email address you want. That isn't my first choice though!
