thunderbird File menu options
I have just clicked on the Menu>File section of TB to find it very wide. I noticed there are several line items that are adding to this width that I do not remember ever being there. They are greyed out.
Save Selected messages>options>help Save Save and close (Z)
Where did these come from and can I not show them? Really not doing any harm but seems I don't use them. Maybe just a long way to do things I do differently?
Thanks for your help. oldbob2

Save selected messages is added by the ImportExportTools NG add-on. I don't know why Save (Ctrl+Shift+S) and Save and Close (Z) are in the main window's File menu; Save (Ctrl+S) and Save and Close (Ctrl+L) are active in the New Event or Task window. When a message is selected in the main window, Ctrl+S saves it as an eml file.

I did put that add on but cant remember why so maybe I can just disable it or leave well enough alone. Really does not hurt anything just makes the File menu very wide. Thank you for your prompt and great reply. Stay safe.
I went to shut it off (had hard time finding) and it said it was not compatible with the current version of TB . So am I correct in just disabling it? I have attached a screen shot of what that option shows..Do not know why there are two listed.
The one with NG is for TB 68 & 78, while the other one is for TB 68 and older. You can remove the older one and disable or remove the NG one.
Again Thanks..done!
