One email to 50 recipients did not get to them tho is shows in sent messages

I use Mozilla Firefox for email. I am a writer and frequently send emails to 50+ with a photo attached, for years with no problem.

I sent one this morning but no one got it, tho IT APPEARED IN MY SENT BOX. I sent another one to myself with bcc to others. Again, neither the others nor I got it, tho it was in my sent box.

I have sent test emails to myself, which I rec'd. I am sending and receiving other emails normally with no problem. I sent the photo to myself with no problem ... just a small JPG.

I called Comcast and they said my account is AOK on their end, suggesting I contact you.

Do ya think there's solstician mischief going on? Is the conjunction wreaking havoc on me?  :)

Any help would be greatly appreciated, since it's a solstice email I'm sending.

Hi Mark. My guess based on the information that you've provided is that the email was probably filtered out as spam. This is not uncommon when sending emails to a lot of recipients, especially if you do so often.

I'm guessing it's nothing to do with the email not actually being sent out. It was probably filtered out by the outgoing email service or by the email service that your recipients are using.

Hi Wesley!

Can't thank you enough for your timely and informative answer. Really appreciate it! But Comcast said they checked and there was nothing wrong with my account on their end and to check with Mozilla. So when you mention above, "outgoing email service," do you mean Comcast? I didn't know hey could filter outgoing messages. Is that correct?

I was later able to send my same email to all the people by appending the content to the forwarded message of a pal. He wrote with instructions to view the Great Conjugation or whatever so I cut and pasted my troubled email below his, and the whole shuddering thing was jettisoned off into the solstician air, appearing in my sent box and also in my in box, as I had addressed it to myself and bcc'd the others. OK, Wesley, I understand. It's at this point my friends would pause and say ,"I have no idea what you're talking about."

So grateful for your help on this. You're in Santa's nice book fer sure.
