I don't even know how to ask the question. If I open more than 5-6 tabs, the browser slows to a crawl and task manager says Firefox is using 90% of all available RAM. This morning I had about 12-13 tabs open which is not unusual for me. From what I've read on the support site, Mozilla doesn't seem to have any answers. I would love to not have to use browsers from MSFT or GOOG but I guess it's time to start looking around. I simply cannot function for even one day without a browser. Too bad.

Hi Mark, I think I saw a thread that is similar to your problem. First, you can go ahead and open the Firefox Task Manager to check the performance. It shows you which tabs or extension uses the most memory. You can do this in this way:- 1. Open Firefox 2. Click the Menu button 3. Click More 4. Click Task Manager Refer this link if you need further information Or Refer this site on How to fix Firefox uses too much memory or cpu resources

Hope this helps!
