Hello, I recently bought a new PC since my old one was faulty. When I tried logging in to Firefox it kept trying to make me create a new profile. When I finally tried just typing my login details it seemed to just make me a new profile. I would very much like to retrive my old user information.

Do you still have access to your old computer?

You mentioned profiles. A Firefox profile is a specific folder storing data and settings. Each new installation of Firefox has a default profile. Normally Firefox won't require you to create a new profile unless you downgrade your Firefox version to an older one. Ref. Profiles - Where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.

Did you copy any files from your old computer to your new one?

How long did you have your Firefox Account connected on your old installation of Firefox? Assuming it was at least half a day, a good amount of your data should have been synchronized and available on the new PC's new installation of Firefox (running in the default profile) when you connected it to the same Firefox Account.

Do you mean you forgot your login info?

No, I mean that apparently Firefox isn't able to synchronize my profile with how it was on the old PC.
