Keep receiving "Login to server outlook.office365.com with username (my email) failed." after "Sending Login Information..."
I am 100% certain that I have the correct password and email, yet even after following the instructions to add Outlook to Thunderbird, I have not been able to get it to work past this issue.

Do you have 2-step verification and an app password set up for the account?
I did, after reading your comment I tried turning them off, however I still am receiving the same issue even after turning them off and restarting Thunderbird.
It's OK to have 2-step verification as long as the app password is entered instead of the account password, and you're using outlook.office365.com on port 993 (IMAP) or 995 (POP), SSL/TLS security. If it's POP, make sure POP is enabled for the account, and if you have a security program scanning SSL connections, disable that option.
