Now that you have set up the program to put a copy of sent mail locally, when the copy to the IMAP fails that is helpful, but I have had a number of times when the copy fails in such a way that this does not help. I get the message that the server went down. On screen my only choice is to cancel the process as I do not get an option to retry the save under this condition. When I cancel, it then leaves the mail I was responding to on screen and I cannot close it. My only choice is to use the Task Mgr to close Tbird and start over. Rather annoying. Hope a future version can fix this.

I am win10 64 bit v1803 using Tbird 60.5.2

This annoying lock up continues to occur. I am using imap.aol.com as my server. Is anyone else experiencing the above problem? Suggestions, work arounds or fixes?
