i lost my tablet more than a year ago, it was stolen. now i just bought a new desktop, but i cant find the bookmarks and addons on my lost tablet. because it is not connected to my firefox sync account anymore. i tried already using your backup to recover it ,but the backup dated from only a few months ago when i bought this desktop. its like there is no backup for my account,and i have been using firefox for many years, so how can get my old bookmarks and add ons back? its really important to me. thanks

Sorry for your lost tablet. Been there once, had my laptop stolen from a jobsite that I was working about 10 years ago.

Sync is not a "cloud service". Sync was not made to store a users bookmarks from a solitary device; especially for data to be left sitting for months.

Sync is made to synchronize bookmarks between multiple devices constantly. IOW, to be connected all the time while Firefox is running and constantly contact the Sync server as the selected Sync data is changed with new data or data is deleted.

As far as bookmark backups go, those backups are on the device and don't get set to the Sync server; two completely separate operations. No way to get a backup via Sync. Plus by default 15 bookmark backups are stored in Firefox, so after 15 days worth of backups the older files disappear. So uopu need to retore a backup within 15 days, after that you have nothing.
