Why can't I get a 'chat' option on a site that offers it?
I think I may have customized something that prevents opening a chat with a site that offers that service. It shows if I use Chrome.

I changed the track protection option from always to never and got the chat now icon.

So that I can check here, which site are you looking at?
It showed up when I went to the help - and I didn't change anything! It was on blindsgalore.com. I went to another part of the site and it disappeared again.
Sorry, can not find any chat window easily. What did you change and where was it.
uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 57.0.2 with a Full Version Installer https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/
If can not remember what you changed and this does not work it will mean creating a New Profile : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles then trying to transfer all your stuff to it.

You can click this Lego block icon to allow or block this plugin.
There is no Lego block icon.
Have you tried 'Have a Question' => 'Get Instant Answers' ?
