Hello, Since the last update (Quantum) I cannot delete a single or selected pages from my history. Although the "forget about this site" option works. This works fine on another computer.

Any recommendations about how to solve this?

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database (bookmarks and history) in the Firefox profile folder.

  • use "Verify Integrity" on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page

There's probably something wrong with the Places database but not there are no corrupt places.sqlite files. As the extension Places maintenance is not compatible with Quantum; are there any other solutions apart from rebuilding it from scratch?
