I open Firefox and it says I have Yahoo. It is not that I hate Yahoo - I just want what I am use to, I want to feel in control of my computer and not like it is forcing me to do something i son't know anything about.

You are sure did not install something did not want to ? Check add/remove programs and see what it says for Mozilla Firefox if it has Yahoo in the name and look for yahoo toolbars.
