Process still active after closing ver 50
Using FF Ver 50 Win 7 64 bit. After closing FF Process is still active. I noticed it after running CCleaner and some of the FF items were skipped. How can I resolve this?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).
Is the problem still there?

Thank you! Refreshing Firefox did the trick. Now I just have to re-train my Extensions unless there's a way to copy them from the Old Firefox Data.
The add-on extensions can be found in the Old Firefox folder.

These can't get your data back, but will help in the future.
These add-ons can be a great help by backing up and restoring Firefox
FEBE (Firefox Environment Backup Extension) {web link} FEBE allows you to quickly and easily backup your Firefox extensions, history, passwords, and more. In fact, it goes beyond just backing up -- It will actually rebuild your saved files individually into installable .xpi files. It will also make backups of files that you choose.

Using CCleaner on Firefox files is generally frowned upon by the support contributors here. Too many problems, similar to what you mentioned, have been reported here over the years. Best advice is to disable CCleaner for all Firefox data files that are in the Profile folder.
Thank you again FredMcD. If only I'd had the foresight to ask about this before the Reset. I set them once, I can do it again.
Thank you to The-edmeister for the info regarding CCleaner. This process issue is new and I've been using FF & CCleaner for years, but the newest versions of both could have been the cause.
