two windows open at start up
after an update for Windows Defender, when I open Firefox, two windows open. Both to my homepage, which is Google. How do I make this go away??

pretty sure there was a box I should have unchecked at the time, but I cant find it now. The first time it happened, it opened to the Toshiba start up page, which I have since removed from my preferences. I now realize it opens Google and the last second tab I had open. For instance: I just closed and reopened Firefox and it opened Google and the Firefox options window.

You can check the home page setting.

Firefox supports multiple home pages separated by '|' (pipe) symbols.
thank you, fixed it! that was actually the first thing I checked, but evidently, I missed it somehow.
