Yes, for some reason Windows can't handle the Firefox & YouTube combo. It happens rarely, I'd estimate an average of every other day, but it pisses me off. Sometimes I'm not even watching a video, and instead have a tab open in the background.

My local technical support has given up trying to find the problem, and I have no idea what else to do.

I have not had a problem

Use this link to check that your plugins are up-to-date. If any are listed as unknown or research, do not worry about them.

If you have problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions then check this:

  • see if there are updates for your graphics drivers

https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration

  • disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)

https://forums.adobe.com/message/4468493#TemporaryWorkaround

  • disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

That didn't help me because I don't use the Flash Youtube player; I use the HTML5 version. Also, the only other thing you did was state the problem does not exist. Except it does, and I hate it.

I never said that, did I? I said; "I had no problem." That means the problem is somewhere in your Firefox, or your system.

Did you check your plugins with that link?

As this is a Windows 10 and or driver issue (say for gpu) you could ask on the Microsoft community. http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows
