That is very strange.

Ensure you have latest update on both devices, then in your computer press the sync button in hamburger menu (☰) to force the sync and then try.

Try to login to https://accounts.firefox.com/settings using the email you use for Firefox Sync and see if it accepts your email. If it doesn't, it is likely that your Firefox account doesn't use that email.
