quick filtering doesn't work (even with TotalQuickFilter 3.0 add-in)
When I try to do a quick filter on my emails using the totalquickfilter add-on, it never seems to find anything. I have attached an example where you can see an email from "Jonathan Morris" is in the list, but when 'morris' (or anything else for that matter!) is applied as a filter then nothing is found. It does seem that I am filtering for this term in the Sender, To, CC etc fields (screenshot 3) but nothing is found.
If you could please help me to find my emails it would be much appreciated! I am otherwise just using gmail, which of course works perfectly.

Sorry, forgot the screenshots
does quick filter find things with the add-on disabled? If so I suggest you contact the author.
I do notice the default version on the web site 3.1 is for Thunderbird 36 and above. As 38 is still in the starting blocks you might have the wrong version of it installed.
Clicking versions on the web site allows you to get prior version, including 3.0 with is supposed to work with Thunderbird 31
Thanks a lot, I'll try and reinstall it.
If you click on the blue 'i' button a guide on how to use TQF will appear, it should be read carefully. If you the click the textfilter button it will expand to show all checked for display and selected filters and let you do AND or OR selections for multiple filters.
Short story: your first checked filter is Sender, but "morris" is a Recipient.
The support link on the AMO page is the better place for questions.
Quick filter appears to exclude (does not show) emails sent from webmail even though my IMAP sent folder in Tbird shows the emails. It includes sent folder emails sent from Tbird. The overall search function finds the excluded emails. This seems to rate "bug" status. Or... the feature description needs clarification.
