just wondering if there is a way to have the bookmark drop down window stay open until you are done opening all your bookmarks insted of having it close and have to re open each time?

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

Save all the bookmarks you want open at once in a single folder. Later, go to the bookmarks folder and click "Open all in tabs". You can also go to the bookmarks folder "Recently Bookmarked" and click "Open All in Tabs" there also. Personally, I went to Edit->Preferences->General and set "When Firefox Starts" to "Show My Windows and Tabs From Last Time". This way Firefox always restores my previous session and I don't need to grab web pages from my bookmarks.

The current action is the way Mozilla thinks that drop-down should work.

Try using the Bookmarks Sidebar for that feature. { Ctrl + B } opens and closes the Bookmarks Sidebar.

Or look for an add-on for holding the drop-down menu open after selecting a bookmark.

I think opening the side bar with Control-B is better than opening in tabs because it seems to take less time to open the sidebar menu of bookmarks than opening tabs.
