For years using firefox, I have had all of the bookmarks and login information retained by Firefox on my old HP laptop, but after buying a new Windows 11 Laptop and performing the Firefox syncing, none of the bookmarks/favorites and none of the password (and other items that used to self-populate) are there on my now machine. This has caused an emergency situation since my old laptop is now fatally broken. I'm wondering how to start diagnosing what the problem is, whether the "syncing" actually occurred within my account, while the syncing process indicated no problem. The new machine has it's own Bookmarks toolbar showing, but only contains a few new bookmarks that I have manually added.

I have been using a new windows 11 laptop, but which hasn't been able to import my favorites/bookmarks as well as password data from my previous (also running firefox) Windows 10 laptop. I performed syncing, but which didn't seem to help.

I have tried to look for my profile and it isn't there, I can do it through my mobile but when it syncs it doesn't add the Bookmarks I have saved there either to my PC

Need help please to fix this problem: Firefox does not open QR codes on my iPhone. On my phone, the toggle for Scan QR codes is turned on. I open the camera on my phone, point it to a QR code on my laptop screen, Firefox on my phone opens in a new screen -- but nothing happens. What is missing? Thanks for helping me.

I'm the I.T. Director for a school and we use the Securly filtering system. I can't get Firefox sync to work behind this filter. What is the URL that Firefox is trying to connect to for sync so I can add it to the whitelist? Or, IP address. Also, does Sync use my system DNS or does it have some sort of internal DNS that it queries for sync? Because I recently found out the hard way that I have to use the Securly's DNS IP's or nothing works.....

After reinstalling my computer system, I logged into my Firefox account again, but the data synchronization failed. All my previous data is gone, including bookmarks, passwords, and widgets. What happened? I can't find them in the mobile app either.

I tried to sync my desktop and mobile today. Nothing loaded to my mobile a fact I am now gratefull for because my desktop did sync with the cloud ERASING an entire year of deleating broken bookmarks. What I want to know is how to deleate the cloud so this never happens again!

For years, I've been using FF on desktop (Linux), tablet (Android) and phone (Android - Samsung S24+). Sync has never been a problem until two weeks ago when FF on the phone has either refused to sync when I tapped the command, or hasn't synced for many hours or sometimes days (which is why I tried to do it manually). So, I signed out of my FF account on all 3 devices and then signed back in. The desktop computer and tablet are syncing normally, but the phone still won't sync. When I tap the 3-dot menu on the phone and then my name, it says the phone has NEVER been synced and tapping the sync command does nothing. Under "Choose what to sync", all options are checked, but greyed out. Can't change them, in other words. When I access bookmarks on the phone, it properly shows what was there before the last sync. The phone is running FF version 150.0 Build 2016155439

i have changed windows and i put the same old account on firefox but still not recover my old browser data or passwords , etc i loss everything , please help to recover all my data

I don’t understand what’s going on, but this is not working for me and I am not an eight by person who can get or understand how to use this software I’m a senior and this is frustrating that’s all I can say

Hi! I try to synchronize my mobil iphone 14 and mac airbook wit firefox. I tried new installation firefox, restart iphone, scanning code or choose option e-mail- i always ends on white, empty screen. If i go back than i get the info - could be that there is no internet. I tried wlan and whitout wlan. What else can i do to synchronize?

I opened up Firefox for the first time in a while on this newer laptop, and all of my bookmarks are missing. I recently opened Firefox on my work desktop, and they were all there.

it can be useful if u create a system of syncing which actually works, why my passwords dont sync when i log in and also i had to put my exact same passwords 6 times before the stupid system recognized it was correct, the fuck is happening i had changed devices before and this never happened i dont know why now but im very upset

My internet connection is with Comcast, whom has told their customers that they will no longer be allowing email addresses with their company’s name. To this end I have been trying to move my old email accounts over from them, and I'm facing a lot of problems. However, since I was able to change the email in the Mozilla account today, I may be able to do it now. Also, please update my computer info to windows 11. Educated guesses below are correct.

I have finished my setup. But it keeps saying "finish setup" in the upper right corner of the browser. I have completed all the steps. I want to sync this desktop to my mozilla account. What do I do?
