I have a lot of emails stored in different local folders. My search now hang. They go so far than just hang. Is there a way to rebuild the complete indexing for my thunderbird install?

There used to be an option of searching by various fields such as From, To, etc. I cannot find it. The only option I find, is "mentions", and this does not include From. Took me a while to find a message today.

Is there such option somewhere?

I want to turn on my Firefox vpn in my iPhone but when I tap my Firefox icon, I get get the google browser instead of Firefox browser and there is no icon to turn on vpn in the google browser page.

In this version of Firefox 152 for windows I'm currently unable to remove search related to google, ebay, perplexity and bing.

Please return possibility to remove those completely!

I don't want my browser to have anything to do with those listed above. I have had it removed in previous versions. Why did you add it to browser again?! Why don't you allow to remove it anymore?!

Hello! I appreciate many niceties of the 148 update, but i'm having an issue resulting in many more tabs on Android mobile than I usually generate. When I search something and then want to sesrch the same query again using a different search engine (by selecting a different search engine from the tab bar menu) a new tab opens, leaving the query via the previous search engine open, and the current query of the current search engine in a new tab with focus. I'm aware that this behavior can be modified on desktop, but there is no such setting for android.

I would really love for this behavior to be reverted or optional, as it's made it so I need to clear out many tabs of duplicate queries (on different sesrch engines) and it makes me avoid using the built-in search engine switcher to prevent generating more tabs :( (which sucks because I have like 10+ custom searches and they're very useful!)

I am trying to change my default search engine to Firefox and it isn't allowing me. What could be preventing this? and how do I get around it? Thank you in advance for your help.

I have Brave set as default search engine. I type in the address bar, hit enter, and always get a Brave screen with "404 Nothing matches the given URI". I downloaded the Brave browser and the problem goes away. But I prefer Firefox as my browser, so I'm hoping there is an easy fix to this.

I have some keywords linked to some searches saved as bookmarks - image attached as an example.

I have noticed that the keywords are no longer working in my URL bar. I am using Firefox Developer Edition, and I think the keywords have stopped working since version 153 was released.

The keywords on the proper search engines are still working.

Has anyone else observed this?

I'd like to be able to search for a single email address in TB's inbox. Often I just need to find one email from an email address. I don't need or want to do a "saved search" I just want to reread a specific email from a specific sender. I believe I'm using the classic layout. I've looked through settings, layout, but can't find a way to do that. When I looked through the help articles, etc, all that came up w/saved search. Before one of the latest updates, I could just type in the sender's name or email address, look through all of them, then restore the inbox to list all emails by date. I'd like to be able to restore that function, is there a way to do that?
