Just bought my new Acer Lap Top Downloaded Firefox on it. Trying to bookmark some of my sites. It first let me bookmark them. Now they have all disappeared and it will no longer let me bookmark anything. Can anyone please help me?

When I turn on my Mac and click the Firefox browser icon, it will not load. It hangs. I get a "not responding" message and have to "force quit," again and again until FINALLY it loads, after five or more failed attempts. This does not happen with Firefox on my laptop, only my Mac. Both Firefox and my Mac are up to date. Why is this happening? Please help. It happens every day when I try to load the browser. I am about to give up and move to Safari. Relatedly, anyone know if it's possible to export all my bookmarks from Firefox to Safari?

Every time I get an update, it scares me. The latest update took uploaded a file using firefly. Could I do it using Chrome - yep - it uploaded my file without any issues. I keep hanging on to firefox but I need to changeover. The constant updates should be be happening.

I have my nonprofit's website through Weebly...but recently I cannot get it to come up when I type in the address...I get an error that says PR End of File Error. I am able to access the website through Edge...but I hate Edge!!!!

But it makes me think there is a setting through Weebly that is making Firefox not show the site.

Any help or advice would be great appreciated.

I uncheckd the checked box labled "check spelling as you type" to disable it and it's still showing spellcheck. It's gettingin the way of me typing and being able to spell on my own. It's extremely annoying that I can turn off a featire and the progra will just ingore that I've turened it off. Why is this an actualy problem? why doesn't this button just work? I want it OFF... Please.

I talk to friends on facebook/messenger. Previously my conversations were always on Firefox. But suddenly a couple of months ago I could no longer use my camera and my microphone on Firefox, and had to install a new browser. I have been trying several times to give Firefox permission to use my camera and my microphone, but sofar without success. What do I have to do?

For many years, I've used a utility called DropZone in my menubar, which (among other things) allows documents to be automatically sorted into user-created locations (e.g., folders in the Finder).

Last night, suddenly, each time I drag a photo from Firefox to DropZone, a large window called "Action Console" opens, displaying a bunch of text. Here's a typical message that's displayed:

Ironically, although the last line says "Task completed," the task I was attempting to perform (moving a photo into a given folder) is in fact NOT comleted at all.

Further observations:

This behavior is not displayed in Safari. In Safari, images continue to be moved to the desired folder, as intended.

I googled "action console keeps opening in Firefox," and I performed 4 troubleshooting steps that google AI suggested (including launching Firefox into troubleshooting mode). Unfortunately, in troubleshooting mode, the behavior persists, which suggests that this has nothing to do with any add-ons.

I also created a new, test profile—but even in the test profile, the behavior persists.

So, I'm stumped. After years of using Firefox, this behavior has appeared out of nowhere—and I cannot figure out why, nor how to fix it.

Any further suggestions?

I can login to my iCloud account with Chrome with no issues. Using the same User Name and Same password in Firefox it will not login. Instead it wants me to use different password. I know the UN and PWD are correct as I use Roboform password manager AND I can login using that data using Chrome. That tells me it is a Firefox issue?? HELP

Since the last Firefox update, I'm now receiving feedback that Cloudflare is blocking webpages from being allowed to open. I use a secure external site for an application that is used.

Yes, I've restarted the server - this is where this issue resides. I have also, uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. There has been no hardware changes made to this server. The switches and routers are all working, I restarted each of these in the correct order. So I've ruled out my infrastructure as the cause. I've verified all of the Mozilla/Firefox services are started and running. Interesting fact, go back to old school and I can ping the website/page where the Cloudflare issue is appearing. This tells me the site is available outside of Firefox.

Yes, I know I've broken Security within Firefox, just trying to figure out how to get around this issue and still use Firefox. I will turn things back on once I have this issue resolved.

I've added the parent site to the Enhanced Tracking Protection. It only allows me to add the parent site and not any sub webpage, site.com/support not allowed. That did not resolve the issue.

I turned off the DNS over HTTPS. This also did not resolve the issue.

If I am not receiving the Cloudflare webpage, other generic browser pages will return Server Not Found.

I'm not able to log into various accounts, including a special email account.

To even access this form, I've had to go to an unsupported OS, as there were issues even having this form to even load. I will need to go to various workstations to see if they are having the same issue... My thinking is fix the server, I know the issue is here and hopefully the workstations will automatically be resolved.

Some websites are loaded but only showing the XML, that is fine as I can read this. End User, this would be an issue for them.

I prefer to use Firefox over other browsers but I feel my hands are now tied with not being able to access items I use to be able to access. I have had to switch to a much less favored browser to try and work around this issue.

I know this issue has all occurred since the last update was automatically installed, something perhaps I should disable.

Any thoughts or work around?

I use a screen reader and thus do not use a mouse. The only instructions in the mozilla knowledge base for how to generate strong passwords via the mozilla password manager are mouse specific. After much messing around, I figured out a solution.

What is happening in recent months where Firefox is completely useless, and I mean it. Stops loading pages, youtube won't work. Open Chrome next to same pages flies, problem is I don't like chrome and been using Firefox for past 15 years. But it seems I need to start liking chrome as from most reliable tool, Firefox became most unreliable. Internet speed 1Gbps synchronous, LAN connected. What's going on ? Screenshots how amazon and youtube looks like most of the time.

Even when I am signed into Firefox, the other person's Firefox passwords appear, and mine rarely do. This happened even before I downloaded Windows 11 recently. Often, I need to make sure the other user is logged out of his Windows acct., then turn off the computer, wait a few minutes, and then turn the computer back on before my passwords appear. Today, even that hasn't worked.

Hello, I set up Firefox to automatically log me in through my institution (university) whenever I try to access journal articles. My login has expired and I need to remove this automatic feature but cannot figure out how to do this. I've tried deleting all related saved passwords but this has not resolved the issue.

i run Firefox on Win11. When i go to a website, and open several tabs, e.g., 10 or more, firefox just sits there and no longer works on that site. Basically Firefox is becoming quite worthless as a browser for me. The reason i use it are the extensions. This is something that has happened within the last 6 to 9months or so. What is going on. Hello support, I don't want to be an hassle to you neither pose useless questions but this is my last resource before leave my problem unsolved, so i really hope you can help on this. As per subject I am trying to install add on GMX mailchecker 6.5.5 to Firefox release 95.0.1 (which i like most and don't like to change) but any time I try i get the error "the add on appears to be corrupted" - this happens also when I try to install themes (but it is not a big problem to me i like also your standard design) and any thing else. Now I switched to a gmx mail account also because i saw the option to have an add on for firefox (saying to be compatible with version from 46 onward) but I cannot solve how to install it correctly. When loaded as a temporary add on in debug mode it works really well but then on standard mode i cannot get to have it working. So far i have tried to -reinstall Firefox -install add on from a file -disable mandatory signature in advenced configuration -disable malware scanning while installing the addon BUT none of them worked in my situation. I believe there is an easy way of having it working and seeing it from the debug mode it seems also well integrated SO where am I wrong? Could you please advice me on how to solve this problem I am facing? Thanks a lot for your help, you understand i am not up to date with new web oriented programming but hope this doesn't matter much. In the search bar (I’m not sure about its official name), my previous searches used to appear as suggestions before Google’s own suggestions. However, since I changed my default search engine from Google US to Google UK, it no longer seems to remember the searches I make. I’ve tried switching back to Google US, but that didn’t restore the behavior. Do you have any idea how to fix this?

For example, I previously searched for “things to see in Latvia”, which is why it appears as a suggestion in the screenshot. But if I now search for “things to see in Louvre Museum” and then try the same search again a few hours or days later, it isn’t saved and therefore doesn’t appear as a suggestion.
