I created a Primary Password for the Firefox on my Laptop. I must have written it down incorrectly because Laptop Firefox doesn't recognize the Primary Password when enter it.

Since Laptop Firefox doesn't recognize my Primary Password, I am unable to log into any websites *on my Laptop*. Even if I enter the user name & password manually (vs. trying to use the saved passwords), the Laptop Firefox just asks for the Primary Password.

I am able to access my Firefox account on my Desktop PC and my phone. All three of the devices (laptop, phone, desktop) were being synced, but I turned off the sync when this problem began.

I have read on the Mozilla site that if I have forgotten the Primary Password, then I can "reset" it, however this means I will lose all of my user names and passwords.

I have also read that if I have forgotten my *Account Password*, then I can use my Recovery Key to reset it. >>Can I use my Recovery Key to reset the Laptop Firefox *Primary Password* without loss of data?

I found the place to reset the Laptop Primary Password, but did not click it because I was afraid everything would be deleted when I clicked "Reset".

I dislike having my search suggestions show in the address bar. I have cleared the box on the search settings box, however searches continue to show only in the address bar. If i go to the Google home page the searches show on a webpage Any help will be appreciated.

My wife's old Windows 10 HP laptop quit working last week do to some Operating System failure while it was trying to do an update. It finally did a reboot and now it is useless, at least as it is! It will NOT complete the boot process after trying all of the options offered. All that I am able to is exit out of Windows to a "DOS prompt." I am able to get to the Mozilla Firefox folder and others contain within. The new Windows 11 laptop I bought her is working fine with a fresh Firefox browser installed about a week ago. What she wants is her web links, settings and saved passwords "copied" from the old laptop and installed on the new one! We have no idea how many there are to retrieve! I'm hoping that there might only be one folder that I can copy via "command line" prompt to a USB drive and move the file(s) to the new laptop the same way. Can anyone tell me what I need to know? I don't have access to the primary email to do anything. I do have the secondary email entered but it's asking for a code from the primary email to change it, like I mentioned we don't have access to. Is there any help for this. Hate to lose what we have.

I use Firefox as my default browser, and I like it very much.

Problem: I received an outlook email with a link to a Docusign envelope. The link would not connect with Docusign.

Work Around: When I used another browser, Microsoft Edge, the link opened up right away.

Additional Information: I use another digital signature program, Dotloop, and it works without any issues on Firefox.

Question: What can I do to make sure that Docusign works properly on Firefox?

How do I get the full url line of where I am currently on the homepage back for the search line, or the old full browser line? Have been looking in settings and haven't located it.

About ready to leave firefox over it, and been here for years.

please allow me to stop firefox for making tab groups. I already checked the setting "Use AI to suggest tabs and a name for tab groups" but you don't have a setting that eliminates tab groups altogether. these tab groups keep popping up and messing up my tab organization. thank you

It appears thousands of others have the same issue with NOTHING affecting the search bar handoff to the address bar (changing true/false in about:config does NOTHING, v148.xx). Why not just do away with any search bar and do everything from the address bar? That way enough will be annoyed they'll find an operational browser. Like too many "upgrades," this one went seriously backwards.

i noticed there are many unwanted shortcuts on my firefox home page each time i open the browser can you instruct me how can i get rid of them ? these are not those shortcuts that i added by my self these are just unwanted history webpages that just pop up without my permission i attach the screenshot here .

This browser has been my preferred way to use the internet for years, after Chrome overloaded theirs with unneeded features that slowed the performance. I switched to Mozilla products because of their lightweight and private browsing options. Today, you pushed an "AI Kill Switch" instead of listening to community feedback that largely demanded the removal of all features using generative AI, and this is my final straw. I don't know who in the company is pushing for this, but if there's even the slightest chance of them reading my words; your product is shit and will remain shit for the rest of it's existence. AI features introduce security risks, slow performance noticably, and have such bad political pr attached to them, there's no crawling yourself back from this. You've labeled yourself as another ai company willing to burn all goodwill from your userbase for the percieved chance at acquiring profit. The bubble will pop, and you and your market value will go the way of every other internet browser that was okay for time but got too big for it's britches. You're an idiot for ever believing the ai hype and deciding to bet your entire company on the gamble. Firefox is, at best, only useful for downloading another browser, now. Way to become a direct competitor with Internet Explorer again.

Over the last 5 or 6 months, Firefox seems to have lost the capacity to remember my open tabs if my Mac is forced to restart. These open tabs are vital to my workflow. If this can't be solved, I shall have to migrate to another browser, which is something I do not wish to do.

My Firefox version is 147.0.4; my computer a Mac Studio 2025 M3 Ultra; my OS Tahoe 26.3.

Please advise.
