Hundreds, if not thousands, or perhaps millions, would like to see bookmarks actually work as the do with other browsers. What is the problem, you update Firefox sometimes daily, but bookmarks, never. Should I change my browser? As it says that Firefox will do that, yes every place you visit that is not what I want. I guess it's time to try Safari or Chrome? What do think? Stay stuck in past, is that your option?

In the latest firefox update 154, no start pages are displayed that were distributed with a registry key via group policy. It only works again if you change this setting manually in the Firefox settings.

In Version 153 it´s fine.

Firefox quit opening a new tab when I open a new tab. This overwrites the page I was on. I have to open the history to try and find where I was. This is very frustrating and a waste of time. It stated recently.

I have downloaded Firefox browser and used it on my other Mac. Firefox says than you for downloading, but I cannot find Firefox.dgm anywhere. What's happening. Both of my Macs are same

If firefox is closed and i click on a link in an email, 2 windows open. one blank and the other with my linked page. I can't find anything in the settings to change this. Before it did a similar thing but it was opening 2 tabs in a single window. One blank and one with my requested link. I recall chaning something that got rid of the 2 tabs opening but don't recall what and can't find anything. Apparently that change changed it from opening a 2nd tab blank, to opening a 2nd window blank.

How do l get rid of yahoo which has taken over my laptop after trying to get flight tracking last week? I have always hated it and it is stopping me searching with Firefox. I am old & not too tech savvy.

I am trying to login to my healthcare website and it will not login if the cookies from the previous login are present. Workaround is to delete the site's cookies from Settings-> Privacy and Security-> Clear data for Specific Sites. I have tried Settings-> Privacy and Security->Manage exceptions->Block but it does not work. The cookies are allowed and they again prevent Login.

Hi ! I recently decided to go to my account page on Firefox and check my informations. I decided to remove my recovery mail but that's about it. Then an update came right after and logged me out so I just reconnected. At first, everything seemed fine, exept that I had to log in all of my accounts again (gmail, website accounts, etc.), but then I realized that my containers disappeared as well ! What could be the cause and is it possible to recover them somehow ? There was a lot of saved content on it ;(

(PS: On the other hand, my extensions didn't change, they are still active)

I am trying to log into a remote HikVision camera. I get to see the camera controls, but a small yellow line appears in the middle of the screen. After that I am unable to see or do anything.

Are ALT + Z and ALT + X built-in keyboard shortcuts?

I forgot whether I updated to version 153 or 154. After that, pressing ALT + Z goes to the previous tab, and ALT + X goes to the next tab.

I can't find this information in Firefox's keyboard shortcut manual. I also tried enabling Firefox Safe Mode (no themes, no plugins), but these two keyboard shortcuts still work, which is strange.

So I'd like to ask everyone to test if this is the case? Because I originally had these two keyboard shortcuts configured in the app, but now they're not working.

I clicked on the bookmarks icon to open one up, and there's nothing there. where did my bookmarks go? It's been a week, maybe, since I last used the bookmarks menu

The autocomplete dropdowns for form fields have recently changed appearance, and I strongly prefer the previous, simple design.

The new version has:

• Clock icons next to autocomplete/history entries
• Much more vertical padding, making the list unnecessarily large
• Rounded "pill-shaped" highlighting when hovering over an entry

The previous autocomplete list was much more compact and clean, without the clock icons, excessive padding or rounded hover backgrounds.

Is there currently a setting, `about:config` preference or other supported way to restore the old autocomplete list appearance?

Ideally, I would like to use the previous style:

• No clock icons
• Compact rows with the previous amount of padding
• No rounded/pill-shaped hover effect
• Otherwise retain the existing autocomplete functionality

If there is no setting to restore the old appearance, could an option be added to allow users to choose between the old and new autocomplete UI?

I use WhatsApp web with Firefox 151.0.3 on a Macbook Air. In WhatsApp web, you should be able to emoji over a message sent by someone else. One clicks on the smile icon at the side of the message, the emoji pallet appear above and select one of a handful of emojis. Since a recent update, the pallet no longer opens. It's just white space, the cursor does not change allowing you to pick one of the emojis. See screenshot. Is there a fix for this please?
