I'm running Firefox 130.0.1 (64-bit) and noticed when I read a foreign-language wikipedia article, I do not get the translation icon in the right end of the menu bar. All I see is the "Toggle reader view" icon and the "Bookmark this page icon." I can't figure out where it went. I saw another thread that asked people to check their General settings and "choose your preferred language for displaying pages" option, but it's already set to English (US).

I use TD Easyweb to access my bank information. No matter what changes I make to Firefox settings nearly every page prompts me to 'Manage online experience' and if I go to manage the 'experience' Performance and Targetting are on. I always set them to off but the prompt keeps coming back. I used the same page with Chrome and Edge. Chrome didn't prompt at all. Edge prompted but then seemed to remember my response. This suggests that the issue is with Friefox

Is there software that will being me (more or less) up to date? I'm pretty much computer illiterate, so keeping it simple would be greatly appreciated. Buying a new iMac and transferring files is a last resort...

It has been quite awhile since this happened, but I have missed using Firefox. I was prompted to download an update when I was on the browser website. When I downloaded the new version at that time, it no longer worked. I tried everything to get it to work again, but nothing helped. I probably even corrupted the profile.

What do I need to uninstall or delete to get a new version to work?  I am using Windows 11 on an HP desktop.

Hi, i want to change my search language to US English but it keeps the BR Portuguese language on my search engine for Firefox (Google). Any way to help? Only Firefox itself changes the language.

The latest version of Firefox (115) always launches at fullscreen size in linux. I rarely use any application at full screensize because I like to have other windows open on the desktop at the same time. Virtual desktops are not always convenient. I have tried using the -geometry option at the command line, which is usual honoured by applications running under X11, but this is ignored. Nor can I grab the bottom right-hand corner and drag it diagonally to resize it dynamically. Maybe there is a setting somewhere for initial size?

Desktop Mac with Sonoma OS, up-to-date. Not signed into Mozilla. VPN is off. Extensions off. History, Cache and Cookies deleted. Restarted computer. Returned from a 10-day vacation and now I can't access secure banking websites on Firefox 130.0.1 but Chrome works without issue. I don't access banks that often so I can't say with assurance that the problem occurred over the last 10 days.

I use the Firefox Settings, Saved passwords page and click on the website address for the specific site there to ensure the username and password will load. Twice today, different banking institutions, I was unable to login. Continue to receive an error message. One was for Secure Connection Failed ... unable to verify data received from site. Second (different) site was for Web Server Error involving Cloudfare despite my Firefox settings set to use DNS Quad9, not Cloudflare. Currently set to Maximum Protection-Custom-Quad9 which has always functioned before. Have tried to use "Default Protection"and "Increased Protection" with no change in outcome.

If I have to copy and paste my username and password from Firefox to a Chrome site each time, there's no point in continuing to use Firefox.

I'm currently trying to diagnose an issue with my Firefox. Ever since I upgraded to macOS Sequoia on my MacBook Pro, certain stylized/formatted texts in Firefox have not been showing up correctly in the browser. I've attached an example below from YouTube. The part of the stylized title text that says "Playlist" is messed up on the YouTube page, but it's correctly rendered in the tab bar. Pasting the YouTube video title into the search bar renders the text correctly in the search bar, but not in the actual search window or results page. I'm also seeing this issue on Instagram, Twitter, etc., so it isn't just a problem with YouTube/Google. The text renders correctly in Chrome and Safari, so I don't think it's necessarily a problem with my computer.

Here's what I've tried so far to diagnose/fix the issue:

• Quitting Firefox and restarting my computer: didn't work
• Opening Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode: the text remains messed up
• Deleting prefs.js from my profile folder: my Firefox stops working and no pages load, not even the New Tab page
• Firefox Refresh: also did not work
• Creating a fresh Firefox profile: the new profile renders the text correctly, but signing into my Firefox account on the profile causes the issue to come up again
• Uninstalling Firefox completely, reinstalling: the text renders, but once again signing into my account causes the issue to reemerge
• Opening Firefox on my old computer (also MacBook Pro) while signed into my Firefox account: for some reason, the stylized text renders correctly on this computer

I'm at a dead end right now, and would appreciate any help. I could always just create a new profile and forget about it, but this has been driving me crazy for the past few hours. I really don't want to configure all my extensions and browser settings from the beginning, and I hope that I can keep using my original account.

Anyone have any idea what could be going wrong? Thank you!

As you can see from the screenshot i provided and as you can read from subject of this very annoying issue Firefox new 130 update has changed my URL bar and now stuff are missing to the point that links to Outlook and some other stuff that were in address bar URL because i wanted them there and now they place has been taken by namely foxovizija.blogspot.com and watchonlyfoolsandhorses.com and ajax.nl/shop just because i watched few episodes of fools and horses on that link same goes for foxovizija and browsed some items in ajax fan shop! I WANT DOES LINK GONE FROM MY URL so i can put links that i want to be in there and FF 130 address bar being populated by only the links i want to be there and stay that way! and one more thing i want to get rid of that ugly search with google thing because i don't even use google,further more once all of a sudden in FF 130 MY BROWSER IS MANAGED BY MY ORGANIZATION ? That was never there before this update ,so with all that has been said and screenshot as proof i beg you and plea on your kindness and knowledge to give me guidance how to fix this URL thing first,then how to remove THIS BROWSER IS MANAGED BY YOUR ORGANIZATION and last but not least how to block further FF updates because every new update is worse then the next and just keep pushing the whole browser down the drain ! bold text i can't scroll to the right in my inbox in gmail, nor can i make the different panes less wider, i can't get a bottom scroll bar either. what should i do? the text is already below 90% zoom and i'm having trouble seeing it that small, and then the things i want the size bigger doesn't apply to the section of the page that is needed. please help this layman person out. and thank you for your time and patience with me and this matter whether i understand it or not. bold text

Since Firefox seems to offer respite from 2-step security each time when using the same laptop, what do I have to do to benefit from it. Each time I tap the box to remember this connection but I still get asked to do the extra step.

I just switched my favourite browser from Chrome to Firefox on advice from an Apple Store advisor trying to use less memory. All the IDs and passwords came over, but logging in to known URLs seems not to just happen on their own, and I have to enter them fresh each time along with 2-step security.

I have a 13-inch MacAir 2018, with Somona 14.6.1 MacOs using Firefox 130.0.1.

By the way, I had previously switched to Chrome from Safari that remembered all logins and 2-step security but took a "year and a day" for logins.

Hello. So, first I have to apologize because I have no idea of the technical names related with browsers so I am going to do my best to explain my issue. I have Firefox pined on my taskbar and when I move my mouse pointer on it, it used to show me all my open tabs in a way that I could see all pages in "miniature". Now, and I don't know why, it shows only a list of the names of those pages. How can I change that? I am sending a screenshot to better expose my issue. Thank you!
