Firefox won't allow Add-on because "not updated for Firefox 29.0" even on add-ons that are updated.
I recently newly installed firefox 29.0.1 on my Android phone. Many add-ons that function just fine on my laptop with Firefox 29.0 claim to be "Not Updated for Firefox 29.0"
for the "Add-on Compatability Reporter" and the "Greasemonkey" add-on, the website actually displays a message in red under a greyed-out "Add to Firefox" button that says "Not Updated for Firefox 29.0".
For the "Leechblock" add-on, the site lets me download, but after download displays a message saying "Leechblock could not be installed because it is not compatible with Firefox 29.0.1"
All of these add-ons work just fine on my computer, and the support sites for them claim that they have been updated, so I'm at a loss as to why they won't work.

On the desktop view of addons.mozilla.org there is a version information section that can be expanded if you click on it. For example https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/android/addon/stylish/
> Works with Firefox for Android 14.0 - 32.0, Firefox 4.0 and later, SeaMonkey 2.1 and later, Thunderbird 5.0 and later
If the extension does not mention Firefox for Android in its version information section it is not compatible.

Extensions do not automatically work with Firefox for Android. The developer needs to explicitly make their extension work with Firefox for Android. Neither Greasemonkey or LeechBlock are marked as compatible with Firefox for Android by their authors.
How do you find out if a developer has marked an extension as compatible with Android?

You can also browse https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/android/ which lists only compatible extensions.
