'Open All in Tabs' stops working
Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem since updating to FF 12. After FF is running for several hours, clicking on 'Open All in Tabs' does not work. Restarting FF resolves the problem. Never had this problem with previous versions.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Very odd. This problem was occurring consistently several times a day for a couple of weeks after updating to version 12. Then I ran FF in Safe Mode as suggested for a day and it never happened. Now, I've run FF in standard mode for several days and so far it has not happened again. Wonder if running in Safe Mode may have rebuilt something that had become corrupted?
Problem has reappeared...
Which extensions do you have?

Did you try Save mode
- Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
- Use "Disable all add-ons" on the Safe mode start window to disable all extensions.
- Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")
There are too many people with this problem to chock it up to an extension. Stop recommending the standard "start in safe mod and go thru your extensions". That is ridiculous as it is sporadic. I am not using the same extensions as others with this problem so it is obviously a FireFox issue. Just use google to see how many are having this problem.
I agree with silat. This problem is particularly difficult because I can not find a repeatable sequence that produces the error. Sometimes I can go for days in either standard or safe mode without encountering the problem. Other times, it occurs multiple times per day. Perhaps someone can point me to techniques which would allow me to debug the problem when it does occur.
FF needs a better debugging protocol and tech help system. Telling we customers to try to id the plugin or addon that is the culprit is insane. Or at least it will drive you insane:)
Interesting discovery. Problem reappeared. However, if I go Bookmarks->Show All Bookmarks, right-click on a folder, and select Open All in Tabs, it works. After doing this a few times, the normal way (Bookmarks, right-click on a folder, and select Open All in Tabs) started working again without restarting FF. However, surfing some more, the problem reappeared and the new method only worked after repeated attempts. REALLY FLAKY!
Seems to add weight that this is a FF issue. How could an extension be causing FF menu actions to fail?
I remove Tab Utilitys 1.4 , Then Problem doesn't appear for 10 days. Activating Tab Utilitys 1.4 and after about 2 hours , The problem reappeared.

thank you for sharing your findings!
UPDATE
After updating to FF 13, the problem became frequent once again. Based on a suggestion found elsewhere, I deleted my profile and installed all the same extensions/plugins as before. It's been over week now and the problem has not occurred so far...
Well it's been over a month now. I'm still running same extensions as when I first reported this problem. I've even updated to FF 14. Not one single occurrence of the problem since deleting my profile.
Anyone care to speculate as to how a corrupted profile could cause such an odd behavior in FF?
