Hi there,

I am looking for some help. I am running FireFox 10 (Latest Build). Each time I go onto a website the requires Flash, I download it from the adobe website and I can see the content on the page, GREAT! But when I close FireFox and reopen it and go to the same website, the Plug in "Lego brick" is back and says, can you download the Flash Plug-in for the content to be seen. What am I doing wrong, Why is FireFox not keeping the plug-in in it's memory. I am not having any problems with any other browser but I am a FireFox Girl!!!

Just for info I am running:- Windows 7: 64bit FireFox: 10.0.1 Flash: 11.1.102.55

Thank you Jaki

Hi,

Please check if this happens in Safe Mode after enabling only the Flash player in Tools (Alt + T) > Add-ons > Plugins (on the left). You can also test/check the installed player: https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

Went to addons - Adobe Flash was NOT listed Downloaded Flash again Flash was up and runing - saw the Flash sign on the adobe website Put FireFox into Safe Mode, but noticed the Flash was not listed in the add-ons

Do you by any chance have any other thoughts.

You can try deleting the pluginreg.dat file in the profile folder: Firefox Help (Alt + H) > Troubleshooting Information > Open Containing Folder, and exit Firefox.

If you are running Firefox in a sandbox etc. pls see this.
