被選擇的解決方法

Please go to Windows Control Panel | Java | Update. The version you're running at the moment is out of date and may contribute to the problem.

After you update, go to Tools | Add-ons | Plugins and disable Java 1.6.0_14 which is the version you have installed at the moment.

Do you have kind of search security app installed like AVG Linkscanner for example, or do you have the Ask Toolbar installed? Please check what you have installed against this link of problematical extensions: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Problematic_extensions

If you click the link to more system details... (top right of your opening post), you'll see the Java version you appear to have (or had) installed.

Can you try running Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode ? If it functions properly in that configuration, then one of your add-ons is the culprit.

Thanks again if I run in safe mode allis well how do i know with is the bad one MEL

You have to choose the option "Disable All Add-ons" and then click "Make changes and restart".

Then it's just a case of enabling them one-by-one until the problem recurs. Then you know which one it is. Laborious I know, but there's no other way I'm afraid.

Hi Mel,

To restart Firefox in Safe Mode, click the orange Firefox button, go to Help and then Restart with add-ons disabled. See screenshot.

When Firefox restarts, you'll see a menu appear. Put a tick in the box where it says "Disable All Add-ons" and then click the button at the bottom that says "Makes changes and restart".

If you need any more help, please don't hesitate to say.
