upgraded to 4.0 and lost computers memory of my log in user names and passwords
My computer was able to remember all of my user names and passwords before the upgrade. When i upgraded to 4.0 that ability disappeared. Now i will have to retrace all of the steps for all of my accounts to get them back. It is a major headache. What made me regret this latest upgrade? Can i go back to the prior version?

Were those usernames and passwords saved in Firefox, or another program like maybe Norton?
I basically have the same problem. FF4 won't remember any sign in information even when asked to remember it. I have to input EVERY time. Previous version was great; 4 not so much.
I am using Norton identity safe. I have since put the old version of firefox back and all is well. I will not upgrade again until i am sure that my Norton will work with it.
Well i put the old version back and will not upgrade to 4 until i am sure my Norton will be compatible.
