I have a generation 1 Verizon Droid and firefox mobile keeps freezing, anybody else have this issue?

I have a 1st generation Verizon Droid (running Android OS 2.2). Firefox for Android Beta keeps freezing and I physically have to remove the battery for it to reboot my phone. Does anybody else have this issue?
