Go to Help > Troubleshooting Information, then click on Open Containing Folder. That will open Windows Explorer in your Firefox profile. Close Firefox. Delete the file places.sqlite. Then use the instructions at Import Bookmarks and other data from Microsoft Edge
Help > Troubleshooting Information isn't available in Firefox 3.5 versions.
You can reset the bookmarks on the Safe mode start window.
