If your address book was local, then it's gone unless you can restore a backup of your Thunderbird profile created prior to the incident. Why people think backups are a luxury thing, I don't know. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-thunderbird-stores-user-data#w_backing-up-a-profile
