Using Google search on Firefox iOS, comes up with old search first instead of opening new page for new search

Hey, yeah that sounds annoying 😅

So basically you search something new, but Firefox on iOS keeps showing your old Google results instead of starting fresh, right? I faced something similar a while back — felt like the browser was stuck in cache or session mode.

What worked for me:

Try opening a new tab manually before searching (instead of reusing same tab) Clear Firefox cache/history from settings (this fixed it for me) Also check if “restore previous session” is messing things up

Not sure if it helps but sometimes Google itself keeps session memory too, so logging out/in can reset things.

Are you using private tab or normal mode btw?

Hi, sorry for that. When exactly do old searches show up? (E.g., after you enter a search query in the address bar and proceed, or when you do the same in a new tab, or when you open Google explicitly and then search, etc.)
