I have tried numerous times to install Firefox, it ill not open on my IMAC OS 10.15.7

I was able to install it on my Mac mini running OS mountain lion with no problem but This is the error message I keep getting on my IMAC OS10.15.7 Catalina (attached): current browser is safari ver 15.6.1. Your help will be greatly appreciated!
