I'm trying to enable javascript on my firefox android mobile device. But when I type the about:config instruction in the address bar, the response firefox gives me is that it can't find that page. Why can't firefox find this page? I need to enable javascript in order to use my trusted Speechify text-to-speech app.

Javascript is enabled all the time in Firefox for Android and it can be disabled only by some addons. Do you have any?

Also about:config is not available in Firefox for Android Release, only the Beta and Nightly test channel builds.

There are a few Extensions that can impact or disable on how JavaScript works in Firefox for Android like these https://addons.mozilla.org/android/search/?q=JavaScript

the beta does not give me access to about:config anymore i have to use nightly for now.

Had to change my phone, i downloaded the usual FIrefox Beta - that i only use for the about:config access since i dont care about the beta changes otherwise.

But i no longer have access to the about:config page on Firefox Beta (brand new installation on a samsung).

Firefox team please stop murdering the about:config page on the android. Just let it exist on all the versions of Firefox. Please.

I dont want to use the experimental Android Nightly FOR DEVELOPERS version just to access about:config for a few basic tweaks. Tweaks that the desktop Firefox gets in its stable version thanks to the about:config page. Please...

But you can still access chrome://geckoview/content/config.xhtml, even in the stable version.

Yes, that works. Thank you. So, will that command replace about:config in all versions of Firefox for Android?
