how do I xfer pictures from my smart phone to my desktop so I can send them to someoone with an android phone.. My email provider is Earthlink.net. Was thinking I could save the pictures to a pdf file and then send it as an attachement with the email.
If you could make suggestions on how to accomplish this. If you have other ideas, I would really appreciate it. I don't use cloud.

Can you not just email the photo directly from your phone? Whatever email provider you use you can set up your phone to send/receive emails, and attach photos.
Don’t start converting them to PDFs, that is a pain for everyone involved.
Ways to get data from your phone to your computer without cloud include connecting with a USB cable, using a memory stick or Airdrop.
