Errore visualizzazione risultati ricerca
Salve a tutti,
Da tempo riscontro questi problemi, malgrado i diversi aggiornamenti. In sostanza, i risultati di ricerca non sono attendibili per due motivi.
Il primo: risulta a volte errato l'account mittente di un messaggio presente come risultato di ricerca. Allego due schermate: una che riporta l'errore eseguendo TB normalmente, l'altra eseguendolo in modalità di risoluzione di problemi (plugin disattivati e quant'altro).
Il secondo: può capitare che ricercando dei messaggi usando una parola di ricerca, questa non produca alcun risultato, malgrado la presenza di messaggi che corrispondono a quella chiave di ricerca. Esempio: cercando "planet" non mi sono usciti i messaggi già inviati ad un indirizzo email che include la parola "planetvideo".
Tutto questo si è presentato malgrado abbia più volte: - riavviato TB; - riavviato il PC; - aggiornato TB; - aggiornato il sistema operativo; - cancellata la cache di TB.
Faccio presente che per convenienza, ogni volta che ne ho avuto bisogno, ho creato un backup del profilo e l'ho ripristinato sulla nuova installazione di TB, ad esempio, quando ho cambiato sistema operativo passando da una distribuzione di Linux all'altra..

Salve a tutti,
Da tempo riscontro questi problemi, malgrado i diversi aggiornamenti. In sostanza, i risultati di ricerca non sono attendibili per due motivi.
Il primo: risulta a volte errato l'account mittente di un messaggio presente come risultato di ricerca. Allego due schermate: una che riporta l'errore eseguendo TB normalmente, l'altra eseguendolo in modalità di risoluzione di problemi (plugin disattivati e quant'altro).
Il secondo: può capitare che ricercando dei messaggi usando una parola di ricerca, questa non produca alcun risultato, malgrado la presenza di messaggi che corrispondono a quella chiave di ricerca. Esempio: cercando "planet" non mi sono usciti i messaggi già inviati ad un indirizzo email che include la parola "planetvideo".
Tutto questo si è presentato malgrado abbia più volte:
- riavviato TB;
- riavviato il PC;
- aggiornato TB;
- aggiornato il sistema operativo;
- cancellata la cache di TB.
Faccio presente che per convenienza, ogni volta che ne ho avuto bisogno, ho creato un backup del profilo e l'ho ripristinato sulla nuova installazione di TB, ad esempio, quando ho cambiato sistema operativo passando da una distribuzione di Linux all'altra..

Per la questione 1) Il servizio email utilizzato da un mittente permette di solito di personalizzare il campo "nome del mittente" per cui un indirizzo alfa@example.com potrebbe in teoria mettere come nome beta@altro.example.org con un risultato simile a quello che mostri nelle immagini. Per capire se è questo il caso o se effettivamente c'è un problema in Thunderbird occorerebbe analizzare il sorgente del messaggio (Ctrl + U) -> https://support.mozilla.org/it/kb/scorciatoie-da-tastiera-di-thunderbird#w_azioni-sui-messaggi
Nel caso il problema fosse effettivamente di Thunderbird, generalmente avrebbe origine da un disallineamento tra l'indice e gli archivi e si risolve in tre passi:
- backup -> https://support.mozilla.org/it/kb/profili-thunderbird#w_effettuare-una-copia-di-sicurezza-del-profilo
- compattazione delle cartelle -> https://support.mozilla.org/it/kb/compattazione-cartelle
- ricostruzione dell'indice -> https://support.mozilla.org/it/kb/ricostruzione-indice-globale
Per la questione 2) La ricerca avviene per parole intere. Se così non fosse, cercando "per" verrebbero fuori tutte le mail che contengono pera, però, Perù, peraltro, perno, etc. Cosa che nella maggior parte dei casi sarebbe errata. Poi ci sta che nel tuo caso magari sarebbe preferibile il contrario ma non si possono coprire contemporaneamente esigenze incompatibili
