I upgraded firefox. I then did a system restore on my computer to try and fix a icon issue on my desktop....it was taking forever and I had to leave for work, I left system restore running and went to work.....I came home to a firefox with no passwords, no extensions, add-ons, and no bookmarks. I couldn't even log into firefox.....eventually I had to create a new password, but......my old data folder no shows one day ago as previous file data. ........I am not a computer whiz. If it says go to profile user, I need 100% exact instructions on how to do it......why can't I highlight google to get rid of it? I click on it and remove will not highlight......I need my stuff back.....reading links doesn't help, they "assume" one is an IT......I am not.
