If you are using the Library window (Show All History or Ctrl+Shift+H), that should show all the history from regular windows (history from private windows is not retained).

Is it possible that you are using more than one Firefox profile? You can check this way:

Inside Firefox, type or paste about:profiles in the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it.

This page should list at least one profile and could list many. (Each profile has two folders and one or more buttons. Do not use any Remove buttons!)

This is the profile in use and it cannot be deleted.

Do you have any other profile(s) listed on this page? If so, you can check whether you have used it recently by clicking its Launch profile in new browser button. Then check the history there in the usual ways. When you're done, you can close that window to return to your main/default profile.

You can check whether you use "Clear history when Firefox closes" to clear the history or use Private Browsing mode.
