Feature request: clear indication of local results in "Firefox Suggest"
I appreciate the effort and work that has gone into Firefox Suggest, but I find that it obscures and hides the real source of the found URLs. I have no way to know if it's from my browser history or bookmarks or from, potentially, external sources.
The possibility that "Firefox Suggest" results might be from external sources (depending on what you have configured) makes it (to me) like an opaque black box in everyday use. And even if the source isn't external, the fact that there even exists a doubt is itself a problem.
So a constructive idea: it would be very comforting if at least local results would be clearly indicated in the results in the address bar. And preferably also a distinction of "history" and "bookmarks".

This is not the place for such suggestions. There's an ideas site (https://connect.mozilla.org) or you could file an enhancement request on bugzilla (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org)

The one that is not local which has been with us for a long time would be search engine suggestions -- dynamic query suggestions retrieved in real time as you type.
The one that is in the process of rolling out to some countries and requires Opt-in are cloud-based suggestions from Mozilla. More info in this article: How to customize Firefox Suggest settings. Also, see the attached composite screenshot.

Mainly, I just want it to be clearer which results are from the search history. I think it's the naming of "Firefox Suggest" that confuses things. :)
Small addition - there is now a feature request about this on Mozilla Connect, as well. Thanks guys!
