Hi Colin, add-ons can integrate in a variety of ways, such as a button for the main toolbar, a button for inside the address bar, a right-click menu item for the tab context menu, or the page context menu, etc. Usually the add-on's listing page on the Mozilla Add-ons site has a screenshot showing where it integrates. If you aren't able to track that down, please feel free to mention specific add-ons that are still a problem.

Note that some extensions might not be enabled in Private Browsing mode.
