Removing security info from plain sight when signing into a web site

more options

Hi I want to remove my security info from being in plain site when I try to sign in to a very secure website. Can you tell me how to accomplish this? I may have requested it stay in plain sight-not sure, but I would feel better to have it removed so that I would fill it in each time. Thank you for your time in this matter. Sincerely Bruce R.

Most websites, during login, will show the user name but the password is replaced by * for each character. Is this not the case on your website?

Are you using an add-on that shows the password?

Some websites have an option to show the password.

Hi Bruce, you can delete the saved login and see whether that takes care of it. This article has the steps for that, among many other tips: Password Manager - Remember, delete and edit logins and passwords in Firefox.

Edit: fixed link
