I set Firefox as my browser on my iPhone 8s and Google hijacked my browser and I can’t get rid of it! I do not want to use Google!!!!

I'm not sure what you mean by hijacked, but if you don't want Firefox to send searches to Google, you can choose a different default search engine. This article has the steps:

On an iPad, I have the option to use Bing or DuckDuckGo (as well as specialized sites). Does one of those work for you?
