Hi So my problem started a few days ago i don't remember exactly when. The graphs on the binance exchange site have stopped updating for me on Firefox. I mean when i load the page with the graph in it the graph is static and i have to keep refreshing the entire page to see changes in the graph. I should mention that the graphs on a different site that i use work fine and display the prices in real time.

I also had microsoft edge and the same problem happens there too but today i installed chrome and the problem in NOT present there. So the site and graphs update and work properly in chrome but not in Firefox or edge. I prefer to use Firefox for everything!

-I tried Firefox safe mode and the problem is still there. -I also made a new Firefox profile and the problem is still there. -Finally i even refreshed Firefox but even that didnt fix the problem. I should mention that i have Firefox sync enabled so after i refreshed Firefox it automatically installed back all my addons (and other settings?) so even though it is refreshed it looks and behaves exactly like before i don't know if that "cancels" the effects of the refresh.

I am running win10 and my antivirus is kaspersky. I had Kaspesky on "pause protection" while i was troubleshooting but that didnt help either. I hope i managed to explain everything because i find it hard to express my self in English. If you need me to clarify anything let me know. I hope someone can help me with this because I don't know what else to try.

Thanks in advance Kiri

The site you are trying to visit is not optimal for the graphics you are using. Try to test some other browsers and let me know.

I am not sure i understand what you mean by "the graphics i am using". I mentioned that i already tried edge browser which has the same problem with firefox and chrome which works ok! Should i download and try even more browsers?

Can you post a link to a publicly accessible page (i.e. no authentication or signing on required)?

Firefox shows a purple shield instead of a gray shield at the left end of the location/address bar in case Enhanced Tracking Protection is blocking content. You can click shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection. You can check the Web Console for messages about blocked content.

OK, I found another thread where the user reported the same issue.

My replay in that thread.

Works fine for me in the current release.

It looks that this done via a websocket (wss://stream.binance.com/stream) if I check this in the Web Console and Network Monitor.

You can check the Web Console for websocket related messages.

You cant try to toggle this pref on the <b>about:config</b> page to see if true or false makes a difference (both work for me).
* network.http.spdy.websockets

You can also check other websocket pref to see if they are all default.

yes here is the link: https://www.binance.com/en/trade/BTC_USDT?layout=pro

Thats the webpage i use, the graphs should work even without login. Like i said before it used to work up until a few days ago, maybe a week, but since then all of the graphs on that exchange are static for me in Firefox. In fact not just the graphs, everything on that page is static for me, there is other price data that should change dynamically in real time as you will see when you visit it.

Update: I just retested the page above in microsoft edge and it now works! I dont know why, the only thing that changed since the last time i tested it was that i installed chrome. Firefox still has the problem though nothing changed there.

OK so i tried to toggle the network.http.spdy.websockets but nothing changed still the same problem. havent tried to check other websocket prefs yet but i will.

I aslo checked the Web Console and found all this:

Also compaired to your picture on the other thread my network tab looks like this:

Another update: I uninstalled and reinstalled firefox today and the problem is still there!

I really don't know what else to try here. Can you understand anything from the errors above that i see in the web console or in the network monitor? If someone can at least point me to which settings could be responsible for those errors i can spend some time experimenting there..

I hope i am not spamming my own thread too much, im just trying to give as much info on my problem as i can.

I discovered that my problem comes from this error: "Content Security Policy: The page’s settings blocked the loading of a resource at eval (“script-src”)"

If i toggle "security.csp.enable" to false then the website works OK!

That said it is my understanding that that's not really a solution and i should keep csp enabled. So does anyone know why this is happening or what i should do?

Completely close Kaspesky, you'll see the difference.
