Thunderbird Keeps Asking for Password

I'm using 3 accounts on thunderbird but one of them keeps asking for password even though I enter it multiply times and save credentials. Found a post but it's outdated. Could you help?

Who is the provider for the affected account?
It's all Gmail.
please remove old password first , before trying password again.
password & account list is in "Saved Passwords" < "Passwords" < "Security" < TB optons/preferences. restart TB.
when you enter password after previous step , also select "Save password".
