subject missing or not showing in mail listing window
For some unknown reason , at random whenever i get a new email , in mail email listing windows - the subject does not show... i have tried resetting Thunderbird but this happens even in safe mode..

Some people do send messages with no Subject, to the annoyance of the recipients. Does the message body show when the message is opened?
Yes, The message and subject shows when clicked on - if there is a subject heading text..
So, the Subject is there in the opened message but not in the Threads Pane. If you right-click the folder, Properties, Repair Folder (rebuild the index), does it have any effect?
it worked seems to work on the inbox folder but when i tried it - repair folders ..on other folders that have new email that did not work.. - thanks for the suggestion though.
