How can I easily edit the url bar in Firefox iOS?
Sometimes the easiest way for me to get what I want from a website is to change the url directly. For example, changing www.amazon.com to smile.amazon.com or changing the user account number in google. In the past I've been able to click on the URL bar to change it. But now when I do that it becomes the previous search and not the current URL. So how can I directly change the url?

When you click on the url bar to edit it, it doesn't show the current url but instead shows your old search you made? Making sure I understand the issue you're having.
I'm not seeing that behavior on my end, but there might be something else at play here.
Yes, that's right. I only see this behavior when I came to the page via search. For example, if I type "paper clips" in the URL bar and then select Amazon from the drop down, I won't be able to change the amazon URL.
